It’s amazing WHAT BAKING CAN DO!!! Now you will be able to make yourself those delicious pies from the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Waitress the Musical. The company is set to release a cookbook of all the recipes for all of the pies that the musical’s lead character of Jenna Hunterson (originated by Tony winner Jessie Mueller, currently played by Stephanie Torns, and soon to be Sara Bareilles) bakes and mentions in the show. The book is titled perfectly enough SUGAR, BUTTER FLOUR: THE WAITRESS PIE BOOK, RECIPES FROM THE FILES OF JENNA HUNTERSON.
The pies mentioned in the show that will appear in the cookbook includes Jenna’s famous ?The Key (Lime) to Happiness Pie,? ?The I Wanna Play Doctor with my Gynecologist Chocolate Mousse Pie,? “The Marshmellow Mermaid Pie”, ?The Betrayed by my Eggs Pie,? ?The My Husband?s A Jerk Chicken Pot Pie”, and more. All you just need is SUGAR, BUTTER, FLOUR for all these pies….
The new WAITRESS cook book is now available to pre-order when you go see the show 8 times a week at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. It will officially be available on May 23rd, 2017.
