Tony Award nominee Brandon Victor Dixon (Broadway’s Motown the Musical, Shuffle Along on Broadway, and last seen as “Aaron Burr” in Hamilton: An American Musical) will take on the role of the head apostle “Judas” (known to kiss and betray the title character),
Tony Award nominee and Olivier Award winner Ben Daniels as the governor of Judea himself “Pontius Pilate”,
Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess on Broadway, Les Miserables – Musical, Broadway’s first African American actor to play the title role in The Phantom of the Opera, and currently in the revival of Once On This Island Broadway) as the head evil high priest “Caiaphas”,
Jason Tam (last seen on Broadway in If/Then Musical) as apostle “Peter”,
Jin Ha (Broadway’s Hamilton: An American Musical and last seen in the revival of M. Butterfly) as the wicked priest “Annas”,
and acclaimed Swedish rock singer Erik Gr?nwall as apostle “Simon Zealotes”.
