BREAKING NEWS: The acclaimed International singing sensation Sarah Brightman is gearing up for the release of a new album and a world tour later this year. No word has been said for when the album will be released or when the tour will officially launch.

For those who are fans of Brightman (known by us Theater fans as the original “Christine Daae” of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera), her concert tours are known for having a spectacular and theatrical vibe (to go with the theme of her album).

Brightman’s recent 2013-2014 World Tour for her last album DREAMCHASER had a full outer space theme. The concert was one of her most intimate (playing in smaller Theaters) featuring a 5 piece rock band, 2 dancers, and a giant LED screen. The space themed for DREAMCHASER was all because of Brightman was initially supposed to be the first major recording artist ever to go up to the International Space Station traveling on the Soyuz TMA-18M rocket back in 2015. Up in space, she was supposed to present a new song by her former husband Andrew Lloyd Webber. However, she dropped from the trip due to a personal family emergency.

Who is excited?
