BREAKING NEWS: Broadway favorite Christina Sajous (Broadway’s American Idiot The Musical, Spider-Man On Broadway, and Holler If Ya Hear Me) is set to join the cast of SpongeBob Broadway this month in the role of the scientific southern squirrel herself “Sandy Cheeks”. She is set to begin performances at Broadway’s Palace Theatre (where Sanjous previous Broadway credit was there in the short lived Holler If Ya Hear Me) on July 24th, 2018 and will continue through the show’s closing on September 16th, 2018,
Original cast member Lilli Cooper (Original Spring Awakening Broadway and WICKED The Musical) will take her final bow on July 22nd, 2018. As previously announced, Cooper’s next project will be playing the role of “Julie Nichols” in the World Premiere out of town tryout of the musical adaptation of the film TOOTSIE (set to play Chicago’s Oriental Theatre from September 11th, 2018 through October 14th, 2018 and then hit Broadway in the Spring of 2019).
