Broadway 101 Musical Theatre 42nd Street Tour

October 17 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Walk 42nd Street with a working actor and learn the “ropes” of the Broadway scene. From Jonathan Larson’s musical “RENT” to Lin Manuel Miranda’s “Hamilton” and many Broadway shows in between. We will visit several hotspots where Broadway actors hang out. You can ask questions with your actor tour guide and gain advice on the audition process, agent submissions, headshots and resumes. This is the perfect introduction to Broadway and basic theatre in general. By the end of this tour you will have explored Broadway’s historical significance and superstitions as well as the training process of a Broadway actor.

This tour is the perfect gift for the young up-and-coming Broadway performer in your life or for enthusiasts who love to sing and dance. Expect spontaneous jazz hands and outbursts of Broadway show tunes!

Highlights of our Broadway 101 Musical Theatre Walking Tour include:
-Learn the origins of musical theatre and the history of Broadway!
-Gossip about the Broadway stars (both in the earthly realm and beyond!)
-Step into the spotlight on the tour and get a chance to be a BROADWAY star by singing famous show stoppers with your tour guide!
