FIRST LISTEN: A month from now, Disney will release it’s long awaited live action remake of the beloved classic story of Beauty and the Beast.

Yesterday in honor of Valentine’s Day, Josh Groban (currently wowing audiences in The Great Comet on Broadway) released a 30 second clip of his recording of one of the new songs written by Alan Menken and Sir Tim Rice (Official) specially for the film entitled EVERMORE. Groban’s version will be heard in the end credits and on the soundtrack. In the actual film, it will be performed by Dan Stevens as The Beast.

EVERMORE replaces IF I CAN’T LOVE HER which appears as the emotional Act 1 finale in the stage version of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (written by Menken and Rice). Groban previously also recorded his version of IF I CAN’T LOVE HER on the deluxe edition of his all Broadway Showtunes themed album STAGES.
