BREAKING NEWS: FOX’s upcoming live televised presentation of Rent has officially set it’s air date. You will have to wait till Sunday, January 27th, 2019 (at 7PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

This version of Jonathan Larson’s Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning musical about a group of struggling artists in New York City’s East Village will mark as the 3rd time it has ever been captured on film. The original film version was released in 2005 and starred majority of the original Broadway cast. In addition, the show’s historical 5,123rd and final Broadway performance at the Nederlander Theatre was captured and released in Movie Theaters for a limited run in 2008. Both versions are available on DVD.
