If you enjoyed this past Friday’s presentation of Indecent on Broadway on the 2017 edition of the PBS Arts Fall Festival, there is more Broadway coming your way this Friday.

This Friday night (November 24th, 2017), get ready to go SHAKIN’ THE BLUES AWAY as Great Performances l PBS will present Roundabout Theatre Company’s acclaimed Broadway premiere of the stage adaptation of Irving Berlin’s legendary 1942 film HOLIDAY INN. Filmed in front of a sold out audience once again at the legendary Studio 54 back in 2016, this production was the 2nd ever Broadway show to be livestreamed once again by BroadwayHD (following the success of the previous Broadway show that played Studio 54 at the same which was She Loves Me).

HOLIDAY INN is set in 1946 telling the story of 3 friends who are a successful dance trio. One of the dancers retires from show business to settle on his small Connecticut farm and realizes how lonely it is without a little bit of song and dance. Along the way, he meets a local schoolteacher with incredible talents who inspires him turning the farm into a spectacular Inn where they put on different shows in celebration of each holiday. The musical features some of the most iconic and beloved Irving Berlin songs we all know in love including BLUE SKIES, CHEECK TO CHEECK, IT’S A LOVELY DAY TODAY, EASTER PARADE, LET’S SAY IT WITH FIRECRACKERS, and even the classic WHITE CHRISTMAS.

This production of HOLIDAY INN features a showstopping all star cast led by Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham as “Jim Hardy”, High School Musical favorite Corbin Bleu as “Ted Hanover”, and LoraLee Gayer as “Linda Mason”.

Set your DVR’s this exciting Thanksgiving week (the day we got PLENTY TO BE THANKFUL for) and tune in this Friday for HOLIDAY INN.
