GOODBYE MY GYPSY LOVERS! Due to very upsetting low ticket sales and the horrific casting controversy, the Award winning smash hit Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 is set to close on September 3rd, 2017 at the Imperial Theatre. Following it’s final bow at the Opera, the show will have played 32 previews and 336 regular performances

In addition, final casting announcements have been made for the lead role of “Pierre”.

Hamilton: An American Musical favorite Okieriete Onaodowan will continue with the role of ‘Pierre’ through this Sunday, August 13th, 2017.

From August 15th -20th, the role will be performed by the show’s standby and original “Pierre” from the American Repertory Theater production himself Scott Stangland.

From there from August 22nd, 2017 through the final performance, the show’s creator and original leading man from the Off Broadway run, Tony nominee dave malloy will play “Pierre”.

In addition, original cast member Brittain Ashford will return to the role of ‘Sonya’ for the performances August 15th, 2017 up till the final performance on September 3rd, 2017. Pop sensation Ingrid Michaelson who currently plays the roles departs on August 13th, 2017.
