BREAKING NEWS: The Award winning smash hit Avenue Q is celebrating a SPECIAL milestone…. the long running R-Rated puppet musical comedy is celebrating its 15th Anniversary of its debut on the New York stage this summer. There are some really exciting events coming your way in honor of this huge milestone.
From July 18th to 29th, 2018, the show will be having special performances at New World Stages that will include audience giveaways and surprise appearances by members of the extended family of AVENUE Q (from original cast members to veteran replacement cast members). Expecting to appear as within these surprise 15 performances will include….
Tony nominee Stephanie D’Abruzzo (the original Broadway “Kate Monster” and “Lucy The Slut”),
Carmen Ruby Floyd (Replacement for “Gary Coleman” in the Broadway company),
NCIS: Los Angeles favorite Barrett Foa (original understudy and first replacement for “Princeton” and “Rod” in the Broadway company),
Ann Harada (the original Broadway and West End “Christmas Eve”),
Tony nominee Anika Larsen (Replacement National Tour, Closing Broadway, and original New World Stages transfer “Kate Monster” and “Lucy The Slut”),
Rick Lyon (the show’s puppet designer and the original Broadway and Las Vegas “Nicky” and “Trekkie Monster”),
Brynn O’Malley (the original Las Vegas “Kate Monster” / “Lucy The Slut”) ,
Tony nominee John Tartaglia (the original Broadway and Las Vegas “Princeton” and “Rod”),
Sharon Wheatley (original Las Vegas and closing Broadway understudy for “Kate Monster”, “Lucy The Slut”, “Mrs. Thistletwat” and “Yellow Bear”,

In addition to the special performances, this lineup, more Avenue Q veterans, and some of the creative team will be teaming up for a special 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert on July 30th, 2018 at Feinstein’s/54 Below. This concert brings the Avenue Q family together as they perform cut and alternate versions of some of your favorite songs from the show along with behind-the-scenes stories from the show’s incredible 15 years history.

The Tony Award winning Best Musical AVENUE Q – which has been part of the fabric of New York since its sensational debut in 2003 – will mark its 15th anniversary with 15 special performances at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.) from July 18 to 29, 2018.
