His performance was spectacular, it led Jöback to starring in the show’s still long running original West End production at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London back in 2012 for an entire year. His performance earned him rave reviews and ignited the box office. With the triumph of doing it in London’s West End, Jöback went on to appear part of the “Phantom Quartet” at the show’s 25th Anniversary on Broadway in 2013 (where he sang with John Owen Jones, Ramin Karimloo, and Hugh Panaro). From there a few months later, he went on to make his Broadway Debut as in the title role at the Majestic Theatre for a limited run. Most recently, Jöback played two sold out engagements playing “The Phantom” in Stockholm (which he sang the role in his native language).
