J?back is one of Sweden’s most prolific and beloved stars, He his no stranger to singing the iconic Andrew Lloyd Webber score and dawning the half white masked. J?back initially was discovered by Cameron Mackintosh appearing as “Chris” in the original Miss Saigon – Musical in London which launched his career in London’s West End and becoming a huge star in Sweden.

His journey with THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA began in 2011 after appearing in the “Phantom Quintet” during the finale of the musical’s legendary 25th Anniversary concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall (where he performed alongside John Owen Jones, Colm Wilkinson, Anthony Warlow, and Ramin Karimloo). His performance was spectacular, it led J?back to starring in the show’s still long running original West End production at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London back in 2012 for an entire year. His performance earned him rave reviews and ignited the box office. With the triumph of doing it in London’s West End, J?back went on to appear part of the “Phantom Quartet” at the show’s 25th Anniversary on Broadway in 2013 (where he sang with John Owen Jones, Ramin Karimloo, and Hugh Panaro). From there a few months later, he went on to make his Broadway Debut as in the title role at the Majestic Theatre for a limited run. Most recently, J?back played two sold out engagements playing “The Phantom” in Stockholm (which he sang the role in his native language).
