Earlier last week,
Sony Pictures released Kay Cannon’s new contemporary movie musical adaptation on the classic story of
Cinderella. With its incredible all-star cast, they have been reunited and hard at work on a non-stop promotional tour for the film. One of the steps include hanging out with co-star Tony and Emmy winner
James Corden on his primetime talk show
The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Following the success last week of the cast relaunching the popular CROSSWALK THE MUSICAL after 18 months, they all joined Corden in his car for the ultimate musical drive to the premiere. Here is Corden along with stars….

For those who may not know, CARPOOL KARAOKE on THE LATE LATE SHOW is one of the many creative recurring ways of how James Corden interviews musical guests on the show. They all hangout in James car both for interviews and belting out the guests many notable songs at the top of their lungs.
For this CINDERELLA, it was a unique combination of some familiar tunes since this new film features updated covers of popular songs plus some new ones. In this version, it’s an amazing combination of songs….. many of you Broadway fans will love this. It features the cast singing…..

James Corden officially brought back his popular CROSSWALK THE MUSICAL segment on his acclaimed late night talk show
The Late Late Show. To kick it back off, the versatile stage and screen star and his Show Biz decide to put on….. the all new original contemporary movie musical
Cinderella (which Corden is part of) out today on
Amazon Prime.

For those who may not know of CROSSWALK THE MUSICAL…. On The Late Late Show, James Corden and guests hold flash mob-style performances of songs from beloved musicals right the middle of a crosswalk when cars stop at it. They don’t do the full song but once the light is about to change, the scene is over and run off.

Today,
Amazon Prime releases the highly anticipated new
Camila Cabello led contemporary musical film adaptation of
Cinderella from
Sony Pictures. The film’s music features an unbelievable catalog of notable songs from today’s pop/rock music catalog along with some original ones as well.
One of the highlighted songs in the film is DREAM GIRL. It was co-written and sung by Tony Award winner
Idina Menzel who plays the role of “Vivian, the wicked Stepmother”. Along with it featured during a dramatic moment in the film, the song is also remixed by
Nile Rodgers that has been accompanied by a music video. The song is a promising new anthem for females inspired by the voices in their head. The song is entitled DREAM GIRL!

OH WHAT A CELEBRATION it will be from now especially with WICKED making its way back to being performed around the world. Earlier this week, the show’s ongoing National Tour relaunched its run in Dallas, TX.
The Broadway production is set to reopen at the Gershwin Theatre beginning September 14th, 2021…. just in time before its 18th Anniversary. The day afterwards on the 15th, the show’s London company will reopen on the West End at the Apollo Victoria Theatre,.
WICKED IN CONCERT: A MUSICAL CELEBRATION OF THE ICONIC BROADWAY SCORE will officially air on August 29th, 2021 at 9pm EST. Check your local PBS station!!!
