Glowing reviews and great houses have prompted Don?t Tell Mama?s Booking Manager to request encore performances of cabaret songstress Teresa Fischer?s cabaret show HIP TO BE HAPPY in June! Robert Windeler of Bistro Awards said, ?We don?t need the title song of this largely bouncy set to understand that Teresa Fischer likes to sing on the sunny side of the street.??In this lively musical hour, Teresa aka ?Lady T? shows us how to keep our spirits high by always looking on the bright side – even when there doesn’t seem to be one. Lady T has assembled an entertaining and eclectic array of songs from standards by Cole Porter and Sammy Fain to pop tunes by Christine Lavin, Ann Hampton Calloway and Mary Chapin Carpenter plus some newly discovered gems. Cabaret veteran Paul Chamlin is the musical director and one-man band for this fun evening that features special musical arrangements by Paul Chamlin and Andrew David Sotomayor.

Performances for HIP TO BE HAPPY are Mondays in June ? June 10, 17 and 24 ? all at 7:00PM at DON’T TELL MAMA, 343 West 46th Street, NYC. There is a 2-drink minimum required for winners of this show.?
