BREAKING NEWS: Whose HEEL is that anyway?! EVERYBODY SAY YEAH because Emmy winner Wayne Brady is rejoining the cast of the Tony winning smash hit Kinky Boots on Broadway beginning next month filling in for J Harrison Ghee (who is going on a temporary leave of absence to do another gig) in the role of the show’s beloved drag queen herself “Lola”.
Brady was the first replacement actor to play “Lola” in the Broadway company of the Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper musical after the show’s original star Tony winner Billy Porter originally left in 2015.
Brady’s run in KINKY BOOTS will be a strictly limited engagement from March 5th, 2018 through April 26th, 2018 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. J. Harrison Ghee will return to the factory on May 1st, 2018.
