HELLO BROADWAY FANS! Tomorrow is the day we’ve all been waiting for, The 70th Annual Tony Awards. These past 30 days, we’ve been playing you the best from the past telecasts from the last 70 years on our Top 30 Tony Awards countdown.

For the #1 performance on our countdown is one of the most legendary musicals of all time. It’s a story of revolution, love, loss, and standing up for people’s rights. This is of course Claude Michele Schonberg, Alain Boubil, Trevor Nunn, and John Caird’s musical masterpiece Les Mis?rables Broadway.

From the 2014 telecast, Ramin Karimloo, Andy Mientus, Samantha Hill, Will Swenson, Nikki M. James, Kyle Scatliffe, Will Swenson, Cliff Saunders,?Keala Settle, and the cast of the current revival perform the show’s Act 1 powerhouse that is so perfect to get us hyped for tomorrow’s Tony night…. ONE DAY MORE.

Originally as a French language concept album turned full production in France and then hitting London’s West End originally as a flop but great buzz of it’s incredible score, Les Miserables – Musical arrived on Broadway in 1987 at the Broadway Theatre and later transferred to the Imperial Theatre where it played 6,680 performances. It was nominated for 12 Tony Awards that same year winning 8 including Best Musical. The show would later be revived twice. In 2006, the original production played Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre for a total of 480 performances. It did not receive any Tony nominations that year. The 2nd and current revival which is Cameron Mackintosh acclaimed 25th Anniversary returned to Broadway’s Imperial Theatre in 2014 where it continues to play now through September 4th. When the production closes, it will have played 1,026 performances. The current revival was nominated for 3 Tonys in 2014 including Best Revival Of A Musical but lost all of it’s categories
