BREAKING NEWS: Protestors interrupted a performance of JULIUS CAESAR at Delacorte Theatre (part of the The Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park series) last night. During the assassination scene of the play, a woman jumped on the stage and began to yell declaring that the play was “normalizing violence against controversies”. The show was stopped for the stage manager and security to throw the woman out. However a few moments later, a man stood up stood up and starting yelling before also being thrown out. The show continued with the line LIBERTY! FREEDOM! before the audience rose to their feet. How horrible?!!
