1 week from today, American Idol and Smash favorite Katherine McPhee hits Broadway!!! Nope not in a new show as her Smash character “Karen Cartwright” on Broadway. We’re talking about McPhee’s official and REAL Broadway debut as the beloved pregnant pie maker “Jenna” in the Tony and Grammy nominated smash hit Waitress the Musical. You can see her 8 times a week at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre starting next Tuesday, April 10th through June 17th, 2018.
WAITRESS Ensemble member Stephanie Torns has been filling in for the role of “Jenna” right now for a whole month. When McPhee joins, Torns will jump back into her usual Ensemble track and continue to understudy the role.
