This new documentary BROADWAY: BEYOND THE GOLDEN AGE has been in the works for nearly 2 decades since the original was released. In 2017, McKay successfully made a Kickstarter campaign in to get this sequel completed. However, after he passed away, the future of the documentary was uncertain.
