As previously announced, Disney is set to present it’s 4th adaptation Freaky Friday for the Disney Channel. Headlining the cast will be Broadway favorite Heidi Blickenstaff (Broadway’s Something Rotten The Musical, [title of show], The Addams Family Musical, and The Little Mermaid) who created the role of “Katherine” in the show’s world premiere productions at Signature Theatre, La Jolla Playhouse, and more.
For Blickenstaff who have seen mainly on stage has previously done short and independent films, this will be her first official major film project. To celebrate, she released a vlog from the first day of filming.
