GREAT, SCOTT!!! New exciting shows are making their way to the stage when Live Theater returns. It has officially been announced that a musical adaptation of the acclaimed film Back To The Future is officially making its way to London's West End this upcoming Spring 2021. It will play the Adelphi Theatre beginning May 14th, 2021.
The production previously had it's World Premiere Pre-West End tryout at Manchester's Manchester Opera House this past February 2020. However, it was abruptly cut short just 5 days after its official Opening Night due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing all of Live Theater to shutdown.

Illusions by Chris Fisher (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child),
Orchestrations by Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook (Motown the Musical),

BACK TO THE FUTURE is a musical of the acclaimed 1985 film of the same name. Set in 1985, the show tells the classic story of coming-of-age teenager "Marty McFly" who is accidentally transported back in time to the year 1955 in a DeLorean invented by his friend "Dr. Emmett Brown". However to return to the present day, "Marty" needs to keep his existence alive by making his parents who met as Teenagers still in love. The show will feature the beloved score by Emmy and Grammy winner Alan Silvestri along with new songs written by him along with Grammy winner Glen Ballard (Ghost the Musical and Jagged Little Pill). It will feature a book by the film's creators Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale. You can also expect the songs THE POWER OF LOVE and JOHNNY B. GOODE in the production.

BACK TO THE FUTURE Will Transfer to the West End in May 2021
BACK TO THE FUTURE The Musical will transfer to the Adelphi Theatre in London's West End following an out-of-town opening at Manchester Opera House in March 2020, where it was enthusiastically received by critics and the public alike. Previews will begin on 14 May.
