Alan Menken talks about the the music written by him and Tim Rice for the upcoming live action remake of Beauty and the Beast. Fans can expect to hear the beloved songs from the original 1991 animated film (written by Menken and the late Howard Ashman) but also 4 new songs written specially for the film. Sadly as previously announced, the songs Menken and Rice wrote for the stage version of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will not be heard in the film.
