BREAKING NEWS: The
Foundation for New American Musicals is set to present its first ever benefit gala honoring 2 of the most acclaimed Award winning faces of our Broadway Theater scene next week. It has just been revealed that this year’s recipients will consist of it’s co-founders….
The Gala will be held on October 24th, 2021 at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre (current home of
Aladdin).
The Gala will also include live performances from some familiar faces who have worked with both Shaiman and Klein including….

The Lehman Trilogy (starring
Simon Russell Beale, Adam Godley, and Adrian Lester) reaches its long awaited official Opening Night tonight at the Nederlander Theatre.
This production (directed by Tony and Oscar winner Sam Mendes) initially was set to have its Opening Night on March 26th, 2020. However, the plug was pulled on it due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing Broadway to go dark. At the time of the shutdown, it only performed almost a week of previews. It recently returned being able to complete its full 2 1/2 weeks of previews.
The Lehman Trilogy will run on Broadway for a limited engagement through January 2nd, 2022.

BREAKING NEWS: Disney’s Award winning smash hit
Aladdin is back on Broadway after a week off due to recent cases of COVID-19 from the company. However despite being back and ongoing protocols, the long running Disney smash hit is in serious trouble.
Most recently,
OK! Magazine shared an article saying that if the show does not increase their ticket sales, there won’t be another magical ARABIAN NIGHT again on the Great Bright Way and the show can sadly end its 7 year run at Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre.

Broadway and Live Theater has been celebrating within these last few months (even while being shutdown) the unforgettable new powerful works by artists and creators of color. Tonight, we are so excited to be celebrating Keenan Scott II’s new play
Thoughts Of A Colored Man as it officially celebrates its Opening Night on Broadway this evening at the Golden Theatre.
The Opening Night was initially set for Halloween but based on the great response it got, they did it a few weeks early.
This production is a strictly limited engagement through March 20th, 2022.
