BREAKING NEWS: THIS DAY IS GONNA BE PERFECT indeed as the original cast of the smash hit musical cult comedy It Shoulda Been You on Broadway are set to reunite for a one night only concert at the 92nd Street Y on March 5th, 2018 at 8:00pm.

The concert will be emceed by the show’s director Tony winner David Hyde-Pierce and will feature majority of the original company that included…

Award winning stage and screen legend Tyne Daly (“Judy Steinberg”,

Broadway favorite Sierra Boggess Official (“Rebecca Steinberg”),

Tony nominee Montego Glover (“Annie Shepard”),

Josh Grisetti (“Marty Kaufman”),

Adam Heller (“Walt” / “Uncle Morty”),

the hilarious Edward Hibbert (“Albert”),

Michael X. Martin (“George Howard”),

Anne L Nathan (“Aunt Sheila” / “Mimsy”),

Nick Spangler (“Greg Madison”),

Chip Zien (“Murray Steinberg”),

understudy Farah Alvin filling in for the Lisa Howard (“Jenny Steinberg”),

understudy Gina Ferrall filling in for Tony winner Harriet Harris (“Georgette Howard”),

and understudy Aaron Finley filling in for David Burtka (“Brian Howard”).

IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU had it’s world premiere at George Street Playhouse in New Jersey back in October 2011 before officially making it’s way to Broadway back in the Spring of 2015 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The reviews were mixed and ran for only 31 previews and 135 regular performances.

The musical features a score and book by Barbara Anselmi and Brian Hargrove telling the hilarious story of a mixed religious wedding filled with tons of chaos.
