See the Ireland-born powerhouse vocalist from September 27th through the 30th, 2017 as she brings her acclaimed solo show from London to New York. Fans of Rachel can expect to hear her perform songs from her acclaimed career as well as songs from her debut album THE REASON.
Rachel Tucker came into our hearts originally in the UK as one of the runner-ups for the BBC smash hit reality competition TV show I’d Do Anything (which casted the female lead of “Nancy” in the recent West End revival of the musical OLIVER! Following the reality show coming in 4th place, she was discovered as ended up with a role in the smash hit West End musical We Will Rock You UK. However, her following got even bigger with her powerhouse performance of “Elphaba” in WICKED The Musical in both London’s West End (which she stayed for 3 years and came back recently to do the 10th Anniversary of the London production) and on Broadway (which she stayed for an entire year). For WICKED, she made history as the first Irish-born actress to play the role and was credited as the longest running consecutive “Elphaba”. She also appeared on the Great White Way as “Meg” in the shorten lived “Sting” musical The Last Ship.
