BREAKING NEWS: Following a triumph run in California, SUMMER is set to disco it’s way to Broadway this Spring!!!

The show (which ends it’s twice extended run at the La Jolla Playhouse on Christmas Eve) will be coming to Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (currently the home of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which is set to close January 14th, 2018). Broadway previews are set to begin March 28th, 2018 and Opening Night is set for April 23rd, 2018.

SUMMER tells the story of the legendary and the late Donna Summer’s rise to fame through triumphs (how she became well known as THE QUEEN OF DISCO) and tribulations all up till the very last concert till her death. Fans of the late singer can expect to hear all the songs that made her famous that you love including…

NO MORE TEARS (ENOUGH IS ENOUGH),

The production features an exciting all star Broadway creative team including…

Tony Award winner Des McAnuff directing
Olivier Award winner Sergio Trujillo choreographing,
Anuff, Tony nominee Colman Domingo, and Robert Cary with the book,
and more.

No word has been announced on who from the La Jolla cast will be continuing with the production when it comes to NYC.
