Phillip Boykin-The Boy Can Entertain (The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess on Broadway and the recent Broadway revival of On The Town – The Musical Comedy Classic) as “Tonton Julian”,
Alysha Deslorieux (currently appearing in Hamilton: An American Musical) as “Andrea”,
Kenita R. Miller (Off Broadway’s The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) as “Mama Euralie”
and Isaac Powell in Broadway debut as the show’s love interest “Daniel”.
The first set of Ensemble members (The Storytellers) have also been announced.
Additional casting will be announced soon including for the lead role of “Ti Moune” (both the Young and the Adult).
ONCE ON THIS ISLAND is set to begin preview performances on November 9th, 2017 and open on December 3rd, 2017 at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
