BREAKING NEWS: New York City Restaurants are slowly on their road to reopening for indoor dining. We are so happy to share with all of you that the city's most popular musical eatery Ellens Stardust Diner is officially safe and set to officially reopen beginning THIS THURSDAY, October 1st, 2020. They will continue to serve Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner!!!

However since we are still in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, things are going to be a little different. There will be a limited capacity and social distancing precautions.

Originally opened in 1987 and named after actress, singer, and model herself Ellen Hart, it's considered a popular spot to go for the Broadway community (especially for Pre or Post Theater dining). It's well known for being the home of its Musical Singing Waitstaff along with the most delicious diner food ever!!!! The venue currently employs more than 200, including its singing servers, hostesses, bussers, runners, bartenders, dishwashers, chefs. Many of its previous servers have later gone on to be discovered and cast in Broadway shows including Avenue Q, WICKED, Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, and more.

The restaurant was on the verge of shutting down due to low rent because of the current events of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ellen's Stardust Diner will reopen its doors once again! The restaurant, famous for its singing wait staff, will be open for patrons beginning on Thursday, October 1, with social distancing guidelines in place.
