HEY MR. ARNSTEIN, HERE I AM!! So much buzz and vibe going on today for the highly long awaited Broadway revival of Funny Girl especially with the debut look of the show’s leading lady Golden Globe nominee Beanie Feldstein for the first time in costume as “Fanny Brice”.
GET READY FOR HER LOVE as the first TV promo commercial has also debuted for the production. It includes Feldstein’s “Fanny Brice” in that iconic opening moment of the musical. “Fanny” walks into the New Amsterdam Theatre empty and standing in front of that legendary mirror saying the most famous first line of them all….. HELLO, GORGEOUS!!! It also includes the notable sounds of the musical’s powerhouse anthem DON’T RAIN ON MY PARADE playing in the background.
Beanie Feldstein shares the stage with the recently announced all-star lineup consisting of Tony and Oliver nominee Ramin Karimloo as “Nick Arnstein” and Emmy winner Jane Lynch as “Mrs. Brice”.
FUNNY GIRL will be coming to Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre (current home of Pass Over and following the limited encore engagement of Slave Play). Previews will begin March 26th, 2022 and will have its official Opening Night on April 24th, 2022.
