BREAKING NEWS: DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN or listen to some great new showtunes?!!! It has just been announced that Disney’s current snowy spectacular new musical Frozen on Broadway is set to release it’s original Broadway cast recording later this Spring. The album will be released from Walt Disney Records.
Fans who can’t make it to the Great White Way to see the sold out smash hit (based on the Oscar winning film) at the St. James Theatre will be able to blast this recording for many years to come. Get ready to sing along with new recordings of some of your favorite songs from the film (including the Oscar winning LET IT GO) as well as new original songs (including the 11:00 showstopper MONSTER) performed by Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, Jelani Remy, and more. The score of Frozen was written by the husband and wife duo of Bobby Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez.
In addition, the new original cast recording will include an expansion of an additional 44 musicians along with the 21 that play the pit 8 times a week.
