Good Morning America is celebrating the best of the legendary Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber this upcoming Thursday from the Winter Garden Theatre. The segment will feature a special interview with the Award winning composer and live performances from the cast of Webber’s 3 current acclaimed smash hits School of Rock the Musical, CATS on Broadway, and The Phantom of the Opera. That’s not all GMA is giving away free tickets to the live event. You do not want to miss out.
FUN FACT: Beginning this February, Lloyd Webber will have 4 of his smash hit musicals all running at the same time on Broadway. That is SCHOOL OF ROCK (at the Winter Garden), CATS (at the Neil Simon), PHANTOM (at the Majestic), and the upcoming revival of Sunset Boulevard (which will play Broadway’s Palace Theatre).
SUNSET BOULEVARD will be a limited 16 week engagement starring Glenn Close reprising her iconic Tony winning performance of Norma Desmond. This new production is based on the semi-staging presentation that just played London’s English National Opera featuring a 40 piece orchestra. Previews begin February 2, 2017, open on February 9, 2017, and run till May 28th, 2017.
