HELL NO! Today, the acclaimed Tony winning revival of The Color Purple Musical (starring it’s Tony winning breakout star Cynthia Erivo and Tony winner Jennifer Holiday) plays it’s final performance today at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre following 482 performances.

In total since it’s 2005 debut on Broadway, the powerful and inspirational musical (both productions produced by Oprah Winfrey) will have played a complete total of 1,422 performance on Broadway. If you did not get to see this acclaimed revival in NYC, no worries because a North American National Tour is set to launch Fall 2017.
