BREAKING NEWS: For the 2nd year in a row, MCC Theater will be presenting their annual MISCAST Gala virtual style next month instead of it being a traditional in-person fancy gathering. This year's edition is set for May 16th, 2020 at 8pm EST only on YouTube for FREE for all Theater lovers to watch. It only will be up for a strictly limited time through May 20th, 2021.
To recap and remind everyone, MISCAST is an annual gala concert produced by Off Broadway's Broadway's MCC Theater. It serves as a benefit to help raise money and support the company's future. All of this consist of future productions, their Youth Company, and their in-school partnerships (serving BOTH NYC public high school students and their literary development work with emerging playwrights). celebration. The concert itself features of the biggest names from The Great Bright Way (as well as Film and TV) as they center stage belting out Broadway songs from roles in which they would never be EVER cast as…. but you never know.

The next round of performers has been announced for Miscast21, premiering on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 8pm ET on MCC’s YouTube Channel. The broadcast will remain available through 11:59pm ET on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
