On this day….. 60 YEARS AGO, the iconic Judy Garland showed the BIG APPLE that she was NOT IN KANSAS ANYMORE with her legendary one night only solo concert at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall. This concert was considered as “The Greatest Night In Show Business History”!!! Accompanied by full Orchestra under the baton of Mort Lindsey, this concert featured Garland in all her glory performing a mix of standards and of course the songs from her legendary Hollywood career including Meet Me in St. Louis, A Star is Born, and of course The Wizard of Oz (performing her signature Oscar winning song OVER THE RAINBOW).
