BREAKING NEWS: The legendary Cher has been tapped appear in the upcoming musical sequel Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again. In the new film, she will star as the never before seen mother of “Donna Sheridan” (Meryl Streep as the older and Lily James as the younger”.
Cher (who is bringing her story to Broadway next year with The Cher Show) will join the previously announced original principal cast from the first Mamma Mia! film including Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Pierce Brosnan, Christine Baranski, and more along with some exciting new cast members playing the characters we know in the ABBA in younger formation.
MAMMA MIA: HERE WE GO AGAIN is slated for a July 20th, 2018 Theatrical release.
