BREAKING NEWS: Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba (Broadway’s Contact, Curtains the Musical, and recently in Bullets Over Broadway) is set to join the cast of Prince of Broadway – A New Musical honoring the work of the legendary Tony winning director and producer Harold Prince. Ziemba will replace Tony nominee Nancy Opel who dropped out for unknown reasons.

Ziemba will join an exciting all star cast including Michael Xavier (who is wrapping up his final few weeks of the limited engagement revival of Sunset Boulevard), Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz (Falsettos on Broadway, An American In Paris on Broadway), Janet Dacal (Wonderland the Musical, In The Heights), Kaley Ann Voorhees (current alternate and youngest actress ever to play “Christine” in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera), Tony winner Chuck Cooper (Broadway’s The Life, recently in Amazing Grace Musical), Tony nominee Tony Yazbeck (Broadway’s On The Town – The Musical Comedy Classic, recently in Finding Neverland – The New Musical), Tony nominee Emily Skinner (original Side Show on Broadway, Billy Elliot the Musical), and Bryonha Marie Parham (The Book of Mormon on Broadway, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess on Broadway).

PRINCE OF BROADWAY will be presented by Manhattan Theatre Club as the first new musical for the 2017-2018 Broadway season. It will begin previews on August 3rd, 2017, open on August 24th, 2017, and will run for a limited engagement at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.
