Lionsgate is eyeing possible plans to bring the hottest musical film out right now La La Land (which won 7 Golden Globes last week including Best Picture) as a stage musical. If it works on stage, the plans is to possibly tour with the show. Could it work on the stage and possibly hit Broadway as well?

Motion Picture Group co-president Erik Feig told investors the studio eventually may mount a touring stage show for Damien Chazelle’s feel-good musical romancer.
