BREAKING NEWS: 5 time Golden Globe nominee Marilu Henner (TV’s Taxi, Broadway’s Chicago The Musical) is set to return to Broadway in the upcoming new original musical Gettin’ The Band Back Together. She will play “Sharon Papadopolous”, the mother of the musical’s central main character “Mitch”.

Jay Klaitz(Broadway?s Rock of Ages) as ?Bart Vickers?,
Brandon Williams as ?Tygen?.
Paul Whitty (Broadway?s Once the Musical and recently in Am?lie On Broadway) as ?Sully?,
Sawyer Nunes (Matilda The Musical on Broadway and Finding Neverland – The New Musical) as ?Ricky?,
and Tamika Sonja Lawrence (Broadway?s If/Then Musical and recently in Come From Away) as ?Roxy?.

GETTIN’ THE BAND BACK TOGETHER will be one of the few new original musicals set to launch the 2018-2019 Broadway season. It’s coming to rock the Belasco Theatre this summer. Previews begin July 19th, 2018 and Opening Night is set for August 13th, 2018.

The upcoming Broadway run of Gettin’ The Band Back Together has announced that TV legend and Broadway veteran Marilu Henner has been cast as ‘Mitch’s Mom,’ aka Sharon Papadopolous.
