HE IS NOT THROWING AWAY HIS SHOT!! Michael Luwoye is set to rejoin the Broadway company of Hamilton: An American Musical this January at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.
The actor made history with Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Award winning smash hit as the first African American actor to play the title role of “Alexander Hamilton” (aka THE 10 DOLLAR FOUNDING FATHER). He initially served as the alternate here on Broadway alongside to the show’s current Broadway leading man Javier Mu?oz and he is currently wowing audiences originating the role on the show’s National Tour.
No official date exactly when in January when Luwoye will begin in the Broadway company and/or when will be Munoz’s final performance.
