SPECTACULAR, SPECTACULAR NEWS! The 14 time Tony Award nominated smash hit Moulin Rouge is set to CAN CAN its way overseas with its all new London company. Following several delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, details have been made for the production’s new start time this Fall.
Under the direction of Alex Timbers and featuring a catalog of the past 160 years of music, the West End production is now set to begin November 12th, 2021 and will have its official Opening Night on December 8th, 2021 at London’s Piccadilly Theatre.
Casting for the new company will be announced at a later time.
Along with the London company, MOULIN ROUGE’s inaugural production in our New York City backyard is set to reopen on September 24th, 2021 at Broadway’s Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Other upcoming productions will also include a North American National Tour and a sit-down company in Australia (where it all began for this musical).
