BREAKING NEWS: New York Theater is slowly making its triumphant comeback!!!!! Many people are taking their vaccinations and the slow and steady approach in safety precautions are underway.

According to Governor Andrew Cuomo, he has just announced that beginning May 19th, 2021, COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted. All of this will apply to retail stores, museums, gyms, amusement parks, restaurants, salons, and…….. THEATERS!!!!!

However since we’re still coping with ongoing COVID-19 safety precautions, patrons will still have to follow certain protocols including…. six-feet social distancing (unless the venue requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test result upon entry) and wearing face masks.

For Theaters, they will be starting with some of New York’s smaller intimate Off-Broadway homes. For our mainstream ON BROADWAY homes, those shows are still expecting to reopen THIS FALL 2021.

Thoughts?

Who is excited?!!!
