OUR NEWLY MELTED HEARTS NOW BLOSSOMING INTO A NEW LIFE! Today is a bittersweet day filled with DUST & ASHES as the Award winning high energy, interactive, intimate, and thrilling smash hit Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812 ends it’s Broadway run at the Imperial Theatre. Following today’s final bow at THE OPERA, the show will have had a total of 368 performances on the Great White Way.

THE GREAT COMET has had an incredible 7 year journey here part of our Theatre scene starting with 2 sold out Off Broadway runs at Ars Nova and in the Kazino pop-up Theatre as well as a regional engagement at American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, MA before Broadway last year. It went on to receive rave reviews and receiving numerous Awards and nominations. The show closes on Broadway after a horrible controversial drama with casting and low ticket sales. However, the show will continue to live on everywhere with rumors of a US National Tour set to kick off in 2019.

In addition, New York Broadway Tours very own Michael got to lend his voice and egg shaking skills with over 200 singers (and fans of the show) on THE GREAT COMET’s original Broadway cast album this past February. The voices have been lent to the musical’s showstopping Act 2 numbers BALAGA & THE ABDUCTION. You can download the original cast recording on iTunes or buy your own personal copy.

BRAVO, BRAVO to the entire cast, crew, musicians, and creative team of THE GREAT COMET on an incredible year long Broadway run.
