This year’s Tony winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen commemorated their 1 year anniversary last night with a special FAN DAY performance at the Music Box Theatre where lucky FANSENS got the opportunity to enter a digital lottery and receive free tickets to the show.
Following the curtain call, First Lady Chirlane McCray came on stage to present to present to the show’s book writer Tony Award winner Steven Levenson, director Tony Award nominee Michael Greif, and the cast (consisting of the show’s current leading man Noah Galvin along with original cast members Tony Award winner Rachel Bay Jones, Tony nominees Mike Faist and Jennifer Laura Thompson, along with Michael Parks, Will Roland, and Kristolyn Lloyd) with a special proclamation from the Mayor of New York City declaring December 10th, 2017 as DEAR EVAN HANSEN DAY!!!
