If you’re enjoying Sutton Foster In Concert on PBS, there’s exciting news for fans of the celebrated 2 time Tony winning star of stage and screen…. she is coming out with a brand new solo album!!!
The album entitled TAKE ME TO THE WORLD will be available on June 1st, 2018 from Ghostlight Records. The album will feature Foster using her spin on songs written by Stephen Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown, Kander & Ebb, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Cole Porter, and more. It is inspired by the arrival of her 1 year old baby daughter. Several of songs on the album are heard this evening on Foster’s PBS concert.
The album will mark as Foster’s 3rd solo album. Her previous albums were her 2009 debut studio album WISH and her 2011 live album AN EVENING WITH SUTTON FOSTER LIVE AT THE CAFE CARLYLE (which was recorded during one of her earlier solo concerts at the Caf? Carlyle). Songs from both these albums are also heard on tonight’s PBS concert.

Sutton Foster to Release New Album TAKE ME TO THE WORLD
GHOSTLIGHT DELUXE, an imprint of Ghostlight Records, has announced the release of Take Me to the World, the long-awaited third album from two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster. The recording will be available on physical, digital and streaming formats on Friday, June 1.
