BREAKING NEWS: This year’s headlining lineup has been revealed for the return of Darren Criss‘ annual Elsie Fest concert this month!! What an exciting lineup of Broadway’s best reunited, taking center stage, and celebrating the return of Live Performance in the Big Apple!!! This year’s headlining performers will include….
Emmy Award winner Darren Criss himself (TV’s Glee and American Horror Story and Broadway’s How to Succeed, HEDWIG, and was slated to return in the revival of American Buffalo),
Stage and Screen favorite Jordan Fisher (Disney’s Teen Beach, TV’s Rent and Grease Live, Dancing with the Stars, and of course Broadway’s Hamilton and set to rejoin the cast of Dear Evan Hansen when it reopens this holiday season),
2 time Tony and Olivier Award nominee Adrienne Warren (Broadway’s BRING IT ON, Shuffle Along, and set to return this Fall in her critically acclaimed performance in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical),
and
upcoming new Musical Theater songwriting duo Barlow & Bear.
The lineup will also feature special guests….
2 time Tony nominee Alex Brightman (Broadway’s WICKED, Glory Days, School of Rock, and of course Beetlejuice),
and
Pentatonix favorite Kristin Maldonado (previously made her Broadway debut in Kinky Boots).
ELSIE FEST 2021 is set for August 29th, 2021 at the Prospect Park Bandshell (now set to be renamed the Lena Horne Bandshell) in Brooklyn. It will also be part of the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn Festival.

Yesterday, 2 time Tony Award nominee Adrienne Warren took center stage headlining her own solo show part of Bryant Park‘s free summer of live concerts celebrating the return of the Performing Arts here in New York City.
The Tina, Shuffle Along, and Bring It On star performed a full diverse selection of Musical Theater favorites, Pop, R&B, Soul, and so much more. In addition, Warren was also joined by some of her fellow Broadway pals including…..
TINA castmates Matthew Griffin and Jhardon DiShon Milton,
SHUFFLE ALONG castmate Amber Iman,
and
Moulin Rouge‘s alternate leading lady Ashley Loren.
The concert was co-hosted and introduced by Mexican Musical Theater star Mauricio Martinez (Broadway and Tour of ON YOUR FEET).
In case you missed it in person, no worries because the concert was also livestreamed. You can watch this powerhouse talent make the Bryant Park crowd still go ROLLIN’ ON THE RIVER below on here for a limited time. This performance alone gives us that excitement in the air of our New York Performing Arts scene back.
As previously announced, Adrienne Warren will be returning to Broadway’s TINA this Fall. However, she won’t be the iconic PRIVATE DANCER for much long…. only for a TBD strictly limited engagement. The show’s re-opening night is set for October 8th, 2021 at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre.

London’s annual WEST END LIVE concert returns to Trafalgar Square this Fall!!

VIDEO: West End LIVE Will Return This September
BREAKING NEWS: Live Theater is making its way back overseas. We are so excited to announce that the London’s annual West End LIVE concert is back. Presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre, this year’s edition is set for September 18th-19th, 2021 in Trafalgar Square.
Last year’s event was initially The event was set for June 20th-21st, 2020. However, it was canceled as an in-person event but changed to a virtual concert.
For anyone who doesn’t know about WEST END LIVE, it’s almost like London’s version of our annual past Broadway events like BROADWAY IN BRYANT PARK, BROADWAY ON BROADWAY, and STARS IN THE ALLEY. Same details….. It’s a fun FREE outdoor concert for 2 DAYS featuring live performances from the casts of all the major musicals in London’s West End and Off-West End. It even features special solo concerts from some of the biggest names who have performed in the West End.
More details on participating shows will be revealed at a later time.

There are so many great way to relive the magic of THE MOUSE that has WOWED the Musical Theater stage within the past 25+ years. One of our personal favorite performances was a critically acclaimed SOLD OUT concert from 2016 held London’s Royal Albert Hall.
