Boston Engagement Of MOULIN ROUGE! Extends By Popular Demand

As previously announced, Moulin Rouge The Musical (starring Broadway heartthrob Aaron Tveit and Tony winner Karen Olivo) is set to begin previews on June 27th, 2018, Opening Night set for July 22nd, 2018, and was set to run till August 5th, 2018.

However, it has just been announced thanks to popular demand, the show (based on the beloved 2001 Oscar winning film of the same name) had just added an additional 16 performances and will run through August 19th, 2018 reopening Boston’s historical Emerson Colonial Theatre.

No word still has been made on when exactly in 2019 the show will officially hit Broadway or which Theater it will head into.

Merle Dandridge to Return to ONCE ON THIS ISLAND for Limited Engagement

BREAKING NEWS: Merle Dandridge is set to return to the 8 time Tony nominated revival of Once On This Island Broadway next month. The actress (known from Broadway’s Rent and Tarzan along with TV’s Greenleaf on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network) will return to the role (she originated in this revival) of the wicked “Papa Ge: The Goddess of Death” for a strictly limited engagement from June 18th, 2018 – August 19th, 2018 at Circle in the Square Theatre.

The show’s current “Papa Ge” American Idol favorite Tamyra Gray (who initially was temporary filling for Dandridge will she was filming Season 3 of Greenleaf) will take a leave of absence this summer but will return August 20th, 2018.

The producers of Broadway’s Once On This Island announced today that Merle Dandridge will return to the Tony Nominated production for a limited time from June 18 – August 19. Current cast member Tamyra Gray will return as Papa Ge on August 20.

The Tony nominated revival of Miss Saigon US ended it’s strictly limited engagement on Broadway last month. Up next, this 25th Anniversary staged revival by Cameron Mackintosh will be continuing to live THE AMERICAN DREAM as a new US National Tour of this production will be launching this Fall.

According to several recent audition posts and the show’s website, the National Tour of the recent revival of Miss Saigon – Musical will officially launch in Providence, Rhode Island this September 2018. Throughout touring across North America, the show will be making it’s way to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more.
