Christiani Pitts and Eric William Morris Will Star in KING KONG

BREAKING NEWS: Christiani Pitts and Eric William Morris have been tapped to star in the upcoming Broadway bound musical adaptation of King Kong.

Pitts (currently starring as “Jane” in Braodway’s A Bronx Tale The Musical) will play the female leading role of actress “Ann Darrow”

and

Morris (previously seen as “Sky” in Broadway’s Mamma Mia!) will play the financially troubled filmmaker “Carl Denham”.

King Kong on Broadway will be coming the Broadway Theatre this Fall. Previews begin October 5th, 2018 and Opening Night is set for November 8th, 2018.

Producers Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman have announced first principal casting for the new musical King Kong. Christiani Pitts, currently starring in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, will star as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris, who played Sky in Mamma Mia!, will play Carl Denham.

Eric Anderson took his final bow in Waitress the Musical this past Sunday at the Broo


Eric Anderson took his final bow in Waitress the Musical this past Sunday at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre before setting off to join the cast of Pretty Woman The Musical.

During his final WAITRESS curtain call, the show’s Tony winning director Diane Paulus and it’s Tony and Grammy nominated composer and returning leading lady Sara Bareilles came on stage to give a speech. From there, Eric Anderson took center stage and surprised the audience with 2 songs from the show that never made it in the final cut Broadway and back when the show started at American Repertory Theater.

Beginning tonight, newcomer Benny Elledge will take on duties as the new boss of Joe’s Diner himself “Cal”.

Happy Trails Eric!! We cannot wait to see you back on Broadway this Fall!!

Pretty Woman: The Musical Adds Eric Anderson to Cast


BREAKING NEWS: Eric Anderson (Waitress the Musical, Peter and the Starcatcher) has been tapped to join the cast of the Broadway Bound Pretty Woman The Musical. The Broadway veteran will take on the role of the serious but soft-hearted hotel manager “Barney Thompson” (previously made famous on screen by H?ctor Elizondo).

Anderson joins an exciting all star lineup including the previously announced West End and Screen star Samantha Barks as “Vivian Ward”, Tony Award winner Steve Kazee as “Edward Lewis”, Jason Danieley as “Phillip Stuckley”, and Tony nominee Orfeh as “Kit De Luca”.

The musical adaptation of Pretty Woman will have it’s world premiere out of town tryout in Chicago at the Oriental Theatre from March 13th, 2018 through April 15, 2018. From there, it will make it’s way to Broadway playing a to-be-determined Nederlander organization Theater this Fall.

Eric Petersen Will Replace Tony Nominee Alex Brightman in Broadway’s SCHOOL OF ROCK


He finally reached THE TOP OF MOUNT ROCK. Broadway bids Happy trails to Tony nominee Alex Brightman as he rocks out for the last time in the Tony nominated School of Rock the Musical today at the Winter Garden Theatre. Beginning tomorrow, Broadway veteran Eric Peterson takes over teaching rock n’ roll duties as the new Dewey Finn.

Not only today is Brightman’s final performance, original cast members Spencer Moses, Evie Dolan Official, Isabella Russo Official, and Carly Gendell are also departing.

Beginning tomorrow, Steven Booth will move up from the Adult Ensemble to a lead as the new Ned (Dewey’s Roomate), Rachel Katzke will take over as the new Katie (Cellist turned bass player), Olivia Chun will take over the role of Summer (the band manger), and Annabelle Wachtel will take over as Marcy (the backup singer).

Additional replacements will include Terrance Bell, Jr replacing Gavin Kim as Mason (the lightning kid) and Walden Sullivan replacing Diego Lucano as Lawrence (the keyboard player).
