BREAKING NEWS: A stage musical adaptation of National Lampoon’s Vacation series is in the works. The musical is being produced by Ken Davenport (Kinky Boots on Broadway Once On This Island Broadway, The Play That Goes Wrong on Broadway), Kurt Deutsch (co-founder of Sh-K-Boom Records and Ghostlight Records), and an association with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.
The VACATION series became a comedy classic in 1983 about the suburban Griswold Family and their crazy adventures.
No word has been announced on when the show will officially hit Broadway.

BREAKING NEWS: We are so excited for SOMETHING WONDERFUL as Tony Award winner Ruthie Ann Miles is set to join London’s West End premiere of Lincoln Center Theater’s Tony winning revival of The King and I the Musical this Summer 2018.
Miles will reprise her performance of “Lady Thiang” which she earned a 2015 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical and will also reunite with her fellow Broadway castmates, the show’s Tony winning star Kelli O’Hara as “Anna Leonowens” and Tony and Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe as “The King of Siam”.
The West End engagement of THE KING & I will be coming to the London Palladium for a strictly limited engagement from June 21st, 2018 through August 4th, 2018.

Looks like the West End will be getting to know Kelli O’Hara and Ken Watanabe. According to a report by the Daily Mail, Lincoln Center Theater’s production of THE KING AND I ‘has its eye on the London Palladium for a limited season next year.’
