It has just been announced that Kara Lindsay (Broadway's Newsies, WICKED The Musical, and Beautiful – The Carole King Musical) and her husband Kevin Massey (Broadway's Tarzan, Memphis The Musical, and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder) are expecting their first child. The due date is set for November 17th, 2019. Congrats Kara and Kevin!!! Who is excited for the talented Broadway duo?!!!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: Fresh off her triumphant Tony winning performance as “Carrie Pipperidge” in this year’s Award winning revival of Carousel on Broadway, Lindsay Mendez is set to return to Feinstein?s/54 Below with an all new solo concert this Fall.
In this new solo show, experience the powerhouse talent (who also wowed audiences in the recent revivals of Grease and Godspell, Dogfight, and as the 10th Anniversary “Elphaba” in WICKED The Musical) like never before. The Newsies and WICKED The Musical favorite previously played a limited run this past Fall. She currently joins a lineup consisting of Glee and Supergirl star Melissa Benoist (who continues in the role of Carole King through August 4th, 2018). HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN indeed as Broadway favorite Kara Lindsay is set to rejoin the cast of the Tony and Grammy winning smash Beautiful – The Carole King Musical as “Cynthia Weil”, The Newsies and WICKED The Musical veteran will begin performances on July 10th, 2018 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
Longtime cast member Jessica Kennan Wynn (who will be seen as “Young Tanya” in the upcoming Movie Musical sequel Mamma Mia!: Here We Go Again out later this month) is set to play her final performance in BEAUTIFUL on July 10th, 2018.

Kara Lindsay will be coming back to the Sondheim as ‘Cynthia Weil’ in Beautiful beginning Tuesday, July 10th. Jessica Kennan Wynn will take her final bow on Sunday, July 8th.
