WE’LL DRINK TO THAT! Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical COMPANY is making it’s way back to London’s West End next year in an all new production. This time, it’s going to be GENDER SWAPPED!! Several roles have been switched opposite sex including the lead role of “Bobby” now going by “Bobbi” and “April” now going by “Andy”.
The cast will feature Rosalie Craig in the lead role of “Bobbi” as well as 2 time Tony and Olivier Award winner Patti LuPone (following the final performance of War Paint this December) in the role of “Joanne”, a role she previously played in the acclaimed 2011 New York Philharmonic production.
This production is set to begin performances at London’s Gielgud Theatre on September 26, 2018.
Thoughts on seeing Sondheim’s legendary musical in a whole new direction?
Patti LuPone will lead Company in the UK!
